Established and directed a nonprofit religious organization. As founder and director (pastor) of Encounter Church, I coordinated nearly 20 volunteers for numerous community events. Established administrative protocols, created community awareness, developed organizational budgets, communicated vision and values, fundraised for outside support, and more. As a skilled graphic designer I also designed all promotional material and online presence.

September 2004 to March 2009

Served as director of worship arts department, recruiting and organizing over 30 unpaid volunteers. Also directed and produced internal and external communications for organization. Programmed creative elements of weekly gatherings. Coordinated themes with a variety of media and graphic elements of worship including music and video presentations. In addition, I performed a variety of graphics and media communications functions.
